Steve was wonderful. From the first visit he explained how the service would be handled and showed us around the Chapel. Made us feel at ease, by answering all of our questions and making suggestions. At the service he had everything set up and even assisted the family with the memorial table and picture boards. His staff was respectful during the interment. Unfortunately this isn’t the first service we had at their beautiful Chapel. My family would recommend The Italian Cemetery to other families.

We are so pleased with the help Steve gave us in regards to my mother & her first husband ‘s head stone restoration. It was a very old and beautiful head stone that we needed to add my mother’s name on. We were going to replace it and Steve suggested restoration as the old headstones are made so much better . Plus the cost was a lot less. We are very grateful for Steve’s help .

My Grandfather has been buried at the Italian Cemetery for almost 80 years. After years of searching and rediscovering his amazing life (he had changed his name to his stage name,) my Father and I were able to finally honor him and place a headstone on his grave. We had a challenging request, he was a Trapeze performer and a daredevil that performed stunts all over the Country and we asked if they could help us with an image of sorts on his headstone. Boy did they provide! Thank you for closing a chapter for myself, my Dad, siblings, and all my extended Italian Family that always wondered what happened to their never forgotten son who came out West to be a star!

Family Services staff were very quick to respond to my initial email inquiry and follow-up questions re: ancestors buried at TIC nearly 100 years ago. Staff member TM was extremely friendly. I look forward to visiting my ancestors the next time I'm in the Bay Area. Thank you, TIC!

I was visiting San Francisco from Boston. While in SF, I was searching for the burial site of my distant relatives. I emailed the Italian Cemetery office and requested information. Troy immediately responded with the location of the grave along with photos. When we arrived at the cemetery, we had difficulty finding the grave, so we called the office, and the woman that answered the telephone was so accommodating and guided us to the burial site. I am extremely grateful for their patience and kindness. Not something we are accustomed to in Boston!! Thank you Troy, and your colleagues in the office!

I have been doing some Geneology for family, and Troy was very responsive to my inquires. Troy sent pictures of my family vault, and provided some historical information that I can use to find more info on my Greatgrandmother.

Office staff were expecting us. They had all the details on my mother's prepaid vault. It only required a quick signature on my part and we were off. Steve was very helpful, kind, and personal. He even recalled seeing my Mom on occasion when she was visiting my father's who is laid to rest there. The grounds are very clean and well-kept. On the day we laid my Mom to rest, the staff on hand were very professional and respectful. They even took the time to put some of my mother's flowers on my father's vault flower holders.
